About Aaron

Let’s talk. Just you and me.

For 26 years I navigated addiction—personally and within my family—while working in hospital neurodiagnostics. I understand the impact on the entire family system: the worry, the chaos, the constant eggshells.

I know the internal struggle behind a capable exterior, and I know the helplessness of watching someone you love decline. That fight cost me almost everything. In sobriety, I rebuilt my life step by step, learning not just to survive, but to rebuild trust and connection.

Over time I integrated lived experience with formal education in neurosciences and project-management training, proving that clarity and sequence bring calm even to chaos. Working alongside Indigenous communities taught me the power of deep listening and understanding systems.

What I bring to you:

  • Empathy for your role as a supporter

  • The why behind these cycles (nervous-system and family-systems insight)

  • Proven tools to build a clear, structured plan you can run this week

As a Neuroscience & Recovery Coach, I help families find their footing, set healthy boundaries, and reclaim their peace—even if a loved one isn’t ready for change yet.

Please note: my role is coaching—tools, strategy, and nervous-system education for you. It’s distinct from therapy or medical care for your loved one. Referrals are offered when appropriate.

FAQ (Fast Answers for Families)

Should my loved one attend the session?

Optional. This session is primarily focused on your plan and well-being. We can build an effective strategy whether they attend or not.

Will discussing this make things worse at home?

No. We prioritize safety and de-escalation. You’ll get gentle, effective scripts and boundary techniques designed to lower conflict and protect connection.

Is it really only 30 minutes?

Yes. It’s a focused, structured session to pinpoint the core issue and map immediate next steps. You’ll leave with a clear plan and one practical tool for tough moments.

Is there a cost to book?

The session is complimentary. A CA$25 fully refundable deposit holds your time and is refunded right after your 30-minute session. Reschedule with ≥12 hours’ notice and your deposit moves with you. No-shows may forfeit the deposit.

What if I need to reschedule?

No problem—use the link in your confirmation email. With ≥12 hours’ notice your deposit simply carries over to the new time.

Can more than one family member join?

Yes. One or two people is ideal for a 30-minute session. If more should attend, we’ll discuss the best format after this first call.

Is this confidential?

Yes. Sessions are private and off the record. We don’t record calls, and nothing is shared without your permission. This is coaching, not therapy or medical care.

Do you work with teens?

Yes, with a parent or legal guardian present. If you’d like to include a teen, note it on the intake form and we’ll plan a calm, age-appropriate approach.

How should I prepare?

Choose a quiet space and bring one recent moment that felt hardest. Consider this prompt: “What recent moment felt most difficult, and what would progress look like this week?”

What happens after the session?

You’ll have a clear plan. If you want ongoing support, we can discuss the Family Support program or the Codependency Intensive—only if it’s a fit. No pressure.

Do you work outside Canada?

Yes. Sessions are virtual and available worldwide. The scheduler displays times in your local time zone.

Can you guarantee an outcome?

No guarantees—every family system is different. What we do guarantee is a clear plan, one practical tool you can use immediately, and a calm, structured path forward.
