Why this works:

Recovery Coach | Neuroscience Background | 26+ Years Lived Experience

Everything I do is rooted in trauma-informed care, lived experience, and the science of how the brain heals.

Hi, I’m Aaron Gleadow. For more than 25 years, I struggled with cycles of coping and change before I found a recovery that actually lasted. I know what it feels like to want better but feel stuck, burned out, or weighed down by the past.

My coaching brings together what I’ve lived and what I’ve studied. Identity and behavior change. Trauma and emotional healing. How the brain rebuilds through safety, repetition, and connection.

I’ve worked in hospital neuroscience, contributed to national mental-health initiatives, and supported hundreds of people through deeply personal recovery journeys using tools that actually fit real life.

This isn’t therapy or rehab — and it’s not a one-size-fits-all system. It’s a real conversation built around what matters to you, what’s happening inside you, and where you’re ready to go next.

When I realized that I had to seek external help to tackle my addiction, it was difficult to find the right fit for me. While my wife knew I was struggling with alcohol abuse, the rest of my environment—especially my employees, clients, and business partners—didn't. Since alcoholism is still stigmatized, I couldn’t afford to come out, as it could have easily ruined my reputation and my family’s livelihood.

I carefully browsed the web and social media channels, looking for the right fit to approach my problem. That’s when I first came across Aaron Gleadow. His story, professional background, and unprejudiced approach impressed me right away. Although it took me another four weeks before I reached out to Aaron personally, his social media presence helped me gain a better grip on my problem and start believing that I could overcome my addiction, just as Aaron did so bravely.

For me, as a business executive, discretion, privacy, and trust were of utmost importance. During our first introductory session, Aaron immediately put me at ease, assuring me that he would handle my case with the utmost discretion. He was eager to help and support me, even accepting that I used an alias at first.

Now, six months later, Aaron knows almost everything about me, including my real name, my business affairs, and my family. He was the reason I was able to get my addiction under control, and we became friends throughout my transformation journey. Thanks to Aaron and his deep understanding of the roots of addiction, I was able to uncover the deeply hidden causes of my alcohol abuse, which was a symptom of a severe inner conflict.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that, with Aaron's help, I gained the life I always wanted to live—sober, self-aware, and happy. I am a better father, husband, businessman, and entrepreneur than I ever was before. Aaron helped me do the work necessary to achieve this, and I am beyond grateful.

I can highly recommend working with Aaron, especially for successful career individuals who cannot afford public attention regarding their addiction. Aaron handled everything discreetly from day one. He is a true professional, and I’m proud to call him my friend.

“Aaron will put you at ease immediately. His compassion and empathy come through from the very first meeting, and his calm presence helped me through some very difficult times.

His encouragement and strength-based approach make it easier to navigate the emotional complexity of addiction, and his dedication to helping others is unmatched.

If you’re looking for a path out of active addiction or feeling uncertain in early recovery, I can’t imagine a better guide. Working with Aaron made me feel capable, supported, and no longer alone in the process.

- Heather P.

“I had been struggling with my sobriety for a long time because I was doing it alone. Since meeting and working with Aaron, I can finally see a happy, sober future again.

When he says, ‘I’m there, I got you,’ he means it — through the good and the bad. His compassion, honesty, and deep care for people in recovery are unmatched. He’s also incredibly authentic about his own journey, which makes it easy to be open about mine.

I’ve never once felt judged. If you’re serious about getting sober, Aaron will walk that path with you — every step of the way.”

- Cara C.

“As an Executive at a Global Fortune 500 company who was battling alcoholism, I needed not only help but also a high degree of discretion and flexibility. Aaron delivered on all fronts — including a calculated wean plan, trigger techniques, relapse prevention strategies, and opportunities to build a robust support group.

What stood out most was that my recovery plan was custom-tailored to me. That level of precision enabled success not only personally but also professionally — and I was able to begin healing without disrupting my career.

I felt supported, understood, and never judged. Working with Aaron changed the trajectory of my life.”
