Private coaching for high functioning people who are tired of struggling in silence

This page is for you if you look “fine” on the outside while alcohol, stress, or burnout are slowly taking more space than you want.

You may be:
• A professional or business owner who drinks to shut your brain off at night
• A parent who is present for everyone else and running on empty inside
• Someone in early recovery who wants more support than a meeting or an app can give

You are not weak, lazy, or broken. Your brain has been doing its best to cope.

Private recovery coaching gives you one consistent place to tell the truth, understand what is happening in your nervous system, and build a step by step plan that respects your responsibilities, privacy, and values.

Empowerment Essentials: Core Track

Sixteen weeks of structured, private recovery coaching

The Core Track is my primary one to one recovery coaching program for people who are ready to change their drinking, rebuild trust with themselves, and put consistent structure around recovery.

Best for:

  • High functioning people who want to change their relationship with alcohol and rebuild trust with themselves

  • People in early recovery who want structure, accountability, and practical tools

What is included:

  • Sixteen weekly one to one sessions on Zoom

  • A clear recovery plan tailored to your story, not a template

  • Nervous system education and tools you can use at home, work, and social events

  • Support between sessions by email or text for quick check ins and course corrections

Outcome:
A grounded, sustainable rhythm for your life and recovery, with a plan you can keep using after the program ends, and practical tools to steady your nervous system during real-life stress, travel, and social events.

Empowerment Essentials: Extended Track

Twenty weeks of deeper recovery work and added support

The Extended Track is for people who need more time, more depth, and a clear plan to change their drinking while staying present for work, family, and daily life. It is often the best fit when rehab feels too disruptive or too expensive, but doing it alone has not worked.

Best for:

  • People with a long history of alcohol use who want extra support through the first months of change

  • Individuals who may need a structured taper or wean plan, coordinated with their doctor, instead of going to inpatient treatment

  • Professionals balancing high pressure roles, travel, or public visibility

  • Clients who know they work best with a longer runway and more gradual transitions

What is included:

  • Twenty weekly one to one sessions on Zoom

  • All Core Track elements: tailored recovery plan, nervous system tools, support between sessions

  • Extra space for family or relationship dynamics, grief, trauma history, or work decisions that interact with your recovery

  • Guidance to work with your physician on a safe alcohol taper or medication plan when needed, so you can change your drinking while remaining at home

Outcome:
A slower, steadier transformation with enough time to build new patterns, repair key relationships, and anchor long term habits so that sobriety or reduced drinking feels realistic and sustainable after the program ends.

Performance Blueprint Session

One ninety minute strategy session

The Performance Blueprint is a standalone, ninety minute deep dive used when we need a detailed roadmap before committing to a longer program. It is not required for everyone. I recommend it when your situation is complex, fast moving, or high stakes and we need clear direction before you decide on longer coaching.

Best for:

  • Leaders and professionals with many moving parts: career, family, travel, public role

  • People who have tried several approaches already and feel stuck or frustrated

  • Clients who want a clear, written plan to guide the next three to six months

What we do in this session:

  • Map your current patterns, triggers, and pressure points

  • Set specific ninety day goals for your recovery and life

  • Design a concrete plan you can keep, with simple nervous system tools for hard moments

Outcome:
You leave with clarity, a written roadmap, and clear options for next steps, whether you move into Empowerment Essentials or continue on your own.

How Private Recovery Coaching Works

Private recovery coaching is not a rigid program. We start with a simple conversation, choose the level of support that fits, and then build a plan around your nervous system, your responsibilities, and your goals for recovery.

Step 1: Book your Free Clarity Call
A fifteen minute, confidential call to understand what you are facing, what you have tried, and what you want next. You can ask questions and there is no obligation to continue.

Step 2: Decide on the right track or session
Together we decide whether the Core Track, Extended Track, or a single Performance Blueprint Session is the best next step. I explain the options clearly so you can choose what feels safe and realistic.

Step 3: Begin weekly private sessions
We meet on Zoom once a week. Each session combines practical recovery coaching, neuroscience based education, and nervous system tools. Between sessions you have small, clear actions that move your recovery forward.

Step 4: Review, adjust, and maintain
As you progress we review what is working, adjust your plan, and strengthen the routines that keep sobriety or reduced drinking realistic in the middle of work, family, and real life.

What Private Sessions Feel Like

• A calm, confidential space where you can say what is really going on without minimizing or editing yourself.
• Clear, practical, trauma informed coaching on your relationship with alcohol and the stress, shame, or pressure underneath it.
• Simple nervous system tools you can use when cravings, anxiety, or pressure rise.
• Concrete next steps at the end of each session so you always know what you are working on between calls.
• Optional use of a Performance Blueprint Session when we decide a detailed written roadmap would support you.

Results Clients Often Notice

• Fewer evening urges and more calm at the end of the day
• Less shame and more honest language for hard conversations at home and at work
• A clearer understanding of how their brain and nervous system react to stress and alcohol
• Realistic routines that fit busy work and family life instead of taking them away from it
• A steady sense that recovery is possible, even with a demanding career or parenting load

Real Stories From Private Clients

“I went into our first call terrified I would be judged. As a high school teacher and mom of two, I was holding everything together on the outside and falling apart at night. Aaron helped me understand what my brain was doing and turned the chaos into small, clear steps I could actually follow.”
Jesy M., private recovery client.

“I was drinking vodka every evening after long days as a project manager. I kept telling myself it was just stress relief. Working with Aaron, I now have steady, predictable sober days and the energy to show up for my work, my partner, and myself again.”
Mark T., private recovery client

“I came to Aaron desperate to fix my son. I am a nurse and had spent my whole life caring for other people. I had no idea how to care for myself in this. Aaron helped me set healthy boundaries and support my own nervous system. Our home is calmer and I finally sleep through the night.”
Karen B., family support client

About Aaron Gleadow

Let’s talk. Just you and me.

For more than 25 years, I was the definition of a high performer hiding a private battle. I worked in hospital neurodiagnostics, side by side with patients and families who were living through the hardest days of their lives, and now offer online recovery coaching to clients across Canada and worldwide. On the outside I looked steady and successful. On the inside, I was fighting a losing battle with alcohol.

That fight eventually cost me my marriage, my job, and my home. I rebuilt my life from sober living, step by step, and began to weave together two things: my lived experience of addiction and recovery, and my formal training in neuroscience, project planning, and trauma informed care. I strengthened that work with an Advanced Certificate in Project Management and years of listening closely to people in complex situations, including time spent working with Indigenous communities.

Today I work as a Neuroscience and Recovery Coach, helping high functioning people change their relationship with alcohol, calm their nervous system, and build recovery plans that fit real life, not an ideal life. Together we create clear structure, honest language, and practical tools so the internal noise finally starts to quiet down. My work is coaching, not therapy or medical care. When other support is needed, I collaborate and refer.

Your Top Concerns, Answered

The best decisions feel safe. Below are the three questions people ask before booking, with clear answers so you can move forward with confidence.

Will this go on my record?

No. Private recovery coaching is confidential coaching, not medical care. There is no diagnosis, no insurance reporting, and no notation on any medical or employment record. Our work stays between us, except when safety or legal obligations require otherwise.

Will I be pressured into a program?

No. The first step is a free fifteen minute Clarity Call to understand what you are facing and to see whether private coaching is the right fit. I will explain your options honestly. Sometimes that is Empowerment Essentials. Sometimes it is the Empowerment Collective. Sometimes it is resources you can use on your own. You decide what happens next.

What if my life is already packed?

Most of my clients are busy professionals and parents. Sessions are online, so you can join from home, the office, or even a parked car. We choose a time that respects work, family, and privacy. Your recovery plan is built around your real life so that change feels possible, not like another full time job.

Is Private Recovery Coaching Right For You?

Private coaching is often the right step if you recognize yourself in several of these:

  1. Other people think you are fine, but you feel exhausted or ashamed inside.

  2. You have tried to cut back or quit before and it did not stick.

  3. You want honest conversations, not scripts, and tools that respect trauma and nervous system science.

  4. You prefer private, online support instead of rehab, work programs, or public groups.

  5. You are ready to invest time and energy into a structured plan, even if you are not sure what that plan should look like yet.
